Mr.Crabby Pants

He's a super clean little man, lots of baths have been taken this week to keep him happy.

Sunday.

Today was an up + out day. Van has been inside a heck of a lot this week and he's a much happier babe when out seeing the world.

First, we went to our favorite (cheap,cheap, cheap!) book store, Half Price Books in LaGrange. Books for a buck and free coffee. Can't beat that.





After that we stopped off at what is now becoming a weekend ritual. Panera Bread.

Van LOVES Panera's Bread.

He keeps himself busy with a baguette THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME.
Note to self: Buy loads for home!

Then we drove around the area through the forest preserves since Van had a very short morning nap we wanted to make sure he had a good afternoon one, for sanity's sake. I was able to stop and take some good shots over by the lake wayyy down 107th. In the general area of Little Red School House.

Our day was started off with plenty of sunshine at 8am even though it was a chilly 5 degrees outside. Brrrr! We hope it'll snow again soon so we can test out our new sled.

Most of the day was spent rearranging furniture in the apartment and fighting off naptime.

Then we got dressed up because Grandma + Grandpa Braswell came to visit and we went to eat some Mexican food that hit the spot we didn't know needed hitting.

Later it was bath + book time.

We read (and as you can see, chewed) one of our favorites.

Just what the heck have Van + Christina been up to?


Yes, this mama is bad at phone calls and regular emails to keep everyone updated. Instead shuffling everyone around for photos at our flickr or videos at youtube , we decided that we are just darn special enough for our OWN site.

Just for the record Van turned 8 months yesterday. As you can see from the picture we had a little early morning photoshoot. No teeth and no crawling yet but we're in no hurry. We just moved into my grandmother's old apartment and have yet to babyproof. Well, unpack and then babyproof.


Van is super excited about all those windows, as am i. Natural light! The new place is filled with it. MUCH less depressing than the old place i'm sure you'll all agree. We spend plenty of time during the day peering out the windows pressing his face up against the glass. Watching the cars go by,the snow melt and licking...thers lots of that. Can't wait for it to get warmer so we can get rid of some of this cabin fever we got goin' on.
