Van Ezra is 9 months old!

(as of yesterday, oops)

Smarty pants.

Van has been a sick boy all week with some sort of bronchial thing so we haven't had much to update about. I definitely can't wait for him to be better because we're both sick of being stuck inside. When we come back up from getting the mail he cries and pulls at the door when i try to close it, like i'm taking away his freedom!

My dad bought Your Baby Can Read for Van and he's been loving it. It cute because it's like you can see the little wheels turning in his head as he watches it. Harvard by age 12!

We thank Grandpa very much for buying it..until he does get smarter than us and starts to use big words we can't understand then he's your problem.

We had our weekend ritual of going to the used book store + panera. This little guy is keeping me on my toes now crawlin' all over the place. For only having a week's experience he's fast! Video of that hopefully soon my camera is not being cooperative and refuses to focus.

We went to IKEA + Woodfield. Van was happy testing new products out and i just wanted to eat swedish meatballs.

Saturday








We HAD to go to Brookfield Zoo. Record highs + a free day!
C'mon.


Sunday was spent in Rockford visiting Grandma + Grandpa Braswell

Monday was spent inside...CRAWLING! Yep. Van is now mobile, Mom is now very busy.

Yesterday was spent at my parents house.
We went to the park fairly late in the day because Mr.Crabby Pants is not an easy napper anymore. My packages came in the mail and i made everyone Green Bubble Tea.

Every morning when i wake up i am greeted with Van's cheesy little smile and his crazy energy ready to start the day. This is shortly after waking up.

He is now obsessed with this mirror + shaking his head.

He's such an easy little bug to take pictures of in the morning. I LOVE the light we get in there.
Last nite we met up with Dustin at World Market on his way home from work. Their sales paper has had great things in it for the past few weeks yet we can never seem to make it there. I almost regretted it once we walked in, rows + rows of clearance. I had to control myself. I forgot how much i love that store.
Beautiful wooden furniture, cookies+candies+tea in pretty packaging and plenty of IPA's that a beer snob like me could appreciate.What's NOT to like?
